How do I make an appointment?

Ring 01285 653624 where a friendly team of receptionists can arrange this for you, or if you wish to discuss any issues with Jackie first, ask to speak to her, if she is not available she will ring you back.

How soon can I offer an appointment?

Appointments can usually be offered within 48 hours. Very often the same day if you ring in the morning.

What are your qualifications?

Jackie has undergone full professional graduate training at Cardiff University and since then has continued to extend her skills with regular professional courses.
Jackie is a chartered physiotherapist registered with the Health Professions Council and is affiliated to the following organisations:

• Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
• PhysioFirst
• Acupuncture Association Chartered Physiotherapists
• Health Professions Council

Do I need to see my doctor to make an appointment:

No, physiotherapists are trained to assess and treat appropriate conditions without medical referral, however if you wish to use medical insurance, many companies will only pay for treatment if this has been cleared by your doctor.

How much will it cost:

Most conditions can be dealt with in a 30 minute appointment which costs £35 for a first visit and £30 for subsequent visits, however if you feel you have a complex problem and wish to make a longer appointment, let the receptionist know and she will arrange it, this will cost £40.

Home visits are variable according to distance from the clinic, and start at £40.
Some insurance companies require a written report following assessment, in this case the initial charge is £45.

Will I be treated at my first visit?

Yes, assessment and treatment are closely linked and treatment is started immediately.

I have private health insurance, what do I do?

Jackie is registered with all the major insurance companies (BUPA, AXA PPP, Norwich Union, Standard Life, WPA, Cigna, and many more) and is happy to arrange direct billing if you provide the necessary information.

Please contact your insurance company to find out how to claim and mention my name, as claim numbers are often linked to individual therapists. If you have an excess on your policy you will need to pay this directly to me.

Opening Hours:

Jackie sees most of her patients between 9:00am and 4:30pm and is happy to fit in with any lunchtime or shift patterns. She tries to be as flexible as possible and may be able to fit in an appointment outside of these times, if you wish to discuss this with her let the receptionist know.
